The principle of the assay is based on a one-step competition. The assay is based on a competition between a fixed amount of 125I-FT4 and the FT4 contained in the samples for a fixed and limited number of anti-T4 polyclonal antibody binding sites adsorbed onto the walls of the tube.
*One-step assay procedure: 45 min at 37°C / shaking.
