Assay principle

Coated tubes
The principle of the assay is based on a two-step competition. A first step consists of an incubation of the samples in coated tubes onto which anti-T4 polyclonal antibodies are adsorbed. In the second step, a 125I-FT4 tracer is added to saturate the remaining free antibody sites. Any unbound tracer is then removed.
*Two-step assay procedure: 30 min at RT / shaking + 60 min at RT /shaking.
