The principle of the assay is based on competition between anti-TPO autoantibodies in the samples and the anti-TPO monoclonal antibodies adsorbed onto the tube walls for binding sites on the 125-iodine radiolabeled thyroid peroxidase (TPO) antigen. One-step assay procedure: 1h at RT / shaking.
