21OH molecules are coated onto the ELISA plate wells. 21OH-biotin complexes constitute the liquid phase. 21OH-Ab bound to the 21OH coated onto the well will also interact with 21OH-biotin via a 21OH-Ab bridge. Addition of streptavidin peroxidase (SA-POD) detects the bound 21OH-biotin. The unbound SA-POD in excess is washed off before the addition of the peroxidase substrate TMB. Assay procedure: Overnight at 2-8°C + 1 h RT / shaking + 20 min RT/ shaking + 20 min RTin the dark.
