The principle of the assay is based on competition between anti-TSH receptor autoantibodies (TRAb) in the samples with TSH receptor adsorbed onto the tube walls for binding sites on 125-iodine radiolabeled TSH. Two-step assay procedure: 2 h at RT / shaking + 60 min at RT / shaking.
