Two anti-hCG monoclonal antibodies are used for the sandwich. The first monoclonal anti-β-hCG antibody is adsorbed onto the tube walls. The second monoclonal anti-α-hCG antibody is radiolabelled with iodine-125.
*Two alternative assay procedures: 1- Qualitative hCG assay: 10 min at RT / shaking + 10 min at RT / shaking 2- Quantitative hCG assay: 30 min at RT / shaking + 60 min at RT / shaking.
