해당 키트의 원리는 샘플에 있는 anti-TPO 자기항체 간의 경쟁반응에 기초하고, 튜브에 흡착된 단일클론성 anti-TPO 항체와 반응한 Iodine 125가 표지된 TPO 항원의 결합 방사능량을 측정한다.
