The ALDO-RIACT kit offers a good detection limit of 7 pg/mL. Its extensive dynamic range means crude samples can be analyzed with no need for a pre-dilution step in the related clinical context and in particular primary hyperaldosteronism. This kit that allows the use of blood and urine samples, and is calibrated against GCMS.

해당 키트의 원리는 Iodine 125가 표지된 aldosterone와 샘플에 있는 aldosterone간의 경쟁반응에 기초한다.
튜브에 흡착된 다클론성 anti-T3 항체와 반응한 추적자의 결합 방사능량을 측정한다.
