해당 키트의 원리는 Iodine 125가 표지된 cortisol과 샘플에 있는 cortisol간의 경쟁반응에 기초한다.
튜브에 흡착된 다클론성 anti-cortisol 항체와 반응한 추적자의 결합 방사능량을 측정한다.
